Louie Joseph Myers was named as a possible Zodiac in 2014 by Randy Kennedy, who said Myers — his best friend — confessed to him in 2001 and told him not to go to police until after his death. Myers died in 2002. Kennedy claimed Myers killed the couples after a breakup and shot Paul Lee Stine for drug money.
Claimed connections include Myers attending the same high schools as Betty Lou Jensen and David Arthur Faraday, allegedly working in the same restaurant as Darlene Elizabeth Ferrin, and serving in the Army from 1971 to 1973, during which the Zodiac sent no letters. However, Myers was only 17 at the time of the Zodiac crimes.
