James Vanderbilt is the screenwriter of Zodiac (2007), which he adapted from Robert Graysmith’s books. According to accounts of the production, Vanderbilt worked alongside director David Fincher and producer Bradley J. Fischer in conducting independent research into the Zodiac Killer case during development of the script.
